Our focus is a multidisciplinary team approach of reaching out to patients and families with a life limiting illness. We employ highly qualified trained professionals at all levels within our organization. At Allegiant Hospice and Home Care INC. the treatment begins with the belief that life is sacred. We treat the person not the disease. Allegiant is a team-oriented agency that addresses all aspects of comfort care, excellent medical care, pain management and emotional/spiritual support, expressly designed to meet the needs wishes of the patient and their family.
At Allegiant our services are provided through a team of trained and experienced professionals, who are driven by compassion and enthusiasm to make a positive impact in such a difficult situation.
Our interdisciplinary teams (IDT's) are coordinated by a physician and registered nurses with the sole purpose of addressing the individual needs of each patient and providing comfort to his/her family. The IDT develops a plan of care (POC) specific to the unique issues affecting each patient.
Works in conjunction with the patient's primary care physician and IDT.
Manages the entire area, cares for the patient, manages medical care and are highly skilled in assessing and managing pain as well as discomfort. Our team of registered nurses educate and train caregivers while providing hands-on-care that maintains communication and coordination among the entire IDT.
Assist in providing emotional care to the patient and family members while helping address financial issues providing resources. Our team of social workers strive to obtain any governmental support upon approval. Their role is also to assist with end-of-life preparations such as funerals and mortuary arrangements.
Allegiant respects all religions/ beliefs and will provide assistance to the patients and families when arranging religious ceremonies or looking for clergy to facilitate services.
